a detailed guide to the new v:kit auto_flow functionality is now available

as announced in the previous newsletter auto_flow is an option to HPLC v:kit2 that allows readings from an HPLC liquid flowmeter to be captured directly into the software via the serial/USB port on your PC.

auto_flow will support all flowmeters purchased from nlg plus any third-party liquid flowmeter with a working RS232 output.

USP follows recognised equipment qualification model; DQ, IQ, OQ, PQ

in the USP draft guidance <1058> on analytical instrument qualification (AIQ) the "4Q" model is formally recognised. the basis of the guidance is an article from AAPS PharmSciTech is that can be downloaded free of charge.
