our offices, laboratory and workshop are located in the historic adelphi mill, bollington, near macclesfield in cheshire.

if your GC baseline is erratic, then suspect a leak in the system. a leak at the inlet end will result in delayed retention times and decreased sensitivity, while a leak in the detector end will result in decreased sensitivity but stable retention times. replace your septum and check column connections to rectify.
