Which detectors can be tested?

FID and TCD are currently available. These represent the detectors most often used in regulated laboratories.

Can I validate my Headspace Sampler?

Yes - there is a GC headspace sampler specific refill kit available. Part number VKIT3-RHS.

I have a GCMS - can I use v-kit for OQ?

We are currently developing a GC-MS v-kit - it is in the prototype stage now .

What is the GC v-kit test column?

A 0.28mm ID capillary is supplied with your Initia GC starter kit. The column is not manufactured from silica and is virtually indestructible. Additional colums can be ordered as required.

How are the solutions supplied?

The GC test solutions are supplied in sealed amber glass ampoules. These ampoules should be opened immediately before testing and their contents added to a suitable autosampler vial for introduction to your system. They have a shelf life of minimum one-year from the date of delivery.
