Specially adapted for GC, the v-kit pressure meter enables easy and accurate measurement of gas pressure at inlets. An inlet adaptor is provided along with an Agilent compatible nut and ferrule, for connection to capillary inlets on 5890,6850,6890 & 7890. Other GCs can be connected by using the manufacturer's standard capillary inlet nut and ferrule.

Diagnostic
Used in combination with the v-kit software it is possible to diagnose common GC pressure problems. Inlet pressure accuracy is a key parameter in the OQ of any GC system. The inlet flowrates set in GCs with electronic pressure control are derived from inlet pressure in conjunction with carrier gas type (i.e He, H2, N2 etc.), column dimensions and temperature, making pressure accuracy an essential element of GC operational qualification
